The Right of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) provides introductory course on Catholicism and a journey of initiation for new Catholics.
An interesting journey; sharing life experiences, delving into history and deep truths, experiencing the grandeur of St Patrick's Cathedral, the quiet times of prayer and reflection and culminates each year in the Easter ceremonies.
There is a team of 5 people who guide the participants through the course answering their questions about the Catholic Faith and inducting them into the community.
RCIA is coordinated by Val Brennan, Diane Saliba Irene Moloney Alan McMahon and Len Monk.
This Easter., four candidates will become full members of the Catholic Church. Congratulations to Darren, Jodie, Prue and Laureen.
We welcome them into our Parish.
